2026 Spring Symposium

Evolution of Digital Teaching & Learning

Friday, March 27, 2026, 8AM-3PM
Macomb Community College – Clinton Township, MI

The A4EOE annual Spring Symposium is a one-day, in-person conference focused on best practices and emerging topics in online learning. Join colleagues from across Michigan to explore practical strategies, research, and innovations shaping the future of online and digital learning.

Call for Proposals: The theme for this year is Evolution of Digital Teaching & Learning. We are seeking presenters who use technology in their courses or learning spaces in innovative, effective ways. We are looking for presenters to share their experiences by submitting a proposal for a 60-minute slot (45-min presentation, 15-min Q&A).

Priority deadline: Sunday, February 15
Final deadline: Sunday, February 22.

Call for Nominations: The A4EOE will honor an outstanding postsecondary faculty member as the “Keith A. Pretty Faculty Member of the Year” at the Symposium. This award is a much-deserved recognition of the talented and hardworking faculty among us. Faculty members can either self-nominate or nominate a colleague. See the nomination form for full information. While nominations are open year-round, only those received by mid-February will be considered for the current year, to be presented at the annual Spring Symposium.
